I am a Junior at UW-Madison majoring in Legal Studies and Spanish. I am currently doing research with Dr. Matt Goupell in Ruth Litovsky's lab. My primary focus is working with vocoded speech. The goal of my project is to observe and compare differences in vocoded speech understanding in children and adults. I would like to determine what children and adults with post-lingual hearing loss may understand though vocoded speech and the effect of how this understanding develops though time and exposure.
