Karen is the newly hired Northern
Region Facilitator. She will be replacing Kathy Ahrens-Johnson who
will be dearly missed. We wish her the best in her future endeavors.
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and
Elementary Education from UW-Eau Claire. I obtained my Masters in
Education with a specialization in early childhood special education
from UWStevens Point.
Before entering the world of B-3. I taught special education with
the Merrill and Wonewoc School Districts. During the past seventeen
years, I have been working with the Langlade County B-3 Program
as an early interventionist, service coordinator, and diagnostician.
I love working with young children and their families, and truly
believe that early intervention makes a difference in their lives.
I will continue to maintain a part-time position with Langlades
B-3 program as well as my new position with RESource.
I feel fortunate to have joined such a wonderful team and look forward
to developing relationships with the B-3 program in Northern WI
