Early Intervention Specialist/Physical Therapist (Part-Time, 20 hours per week).
Lutheran Social Services is seeking an experienced physical therapist to work within the Waukesha County Birth to Three Program.
Function of the Job: Completes eligibility evaluations on children with developmental concerns and provides early intervention services, as a team member, to families with children who qualify for the program. Provides early intervention services designed to enhance child development within the context of family, focusing on strategies that promote parent-child interaction and functional skill development.
Training and Experience:
1) Licensure from the State of Wisconsin."
2) Two years previous experience working as a pediatric physical therapist.
3) One year of relevant experience working with families and children with disabilities in natural environments.
