Opportunities for Giving

Naming Opportunity for the MicroPET Laboratory
$300,000

Micropet ScannerThe MicroPET scanner, purchased with a $1M instrumentation grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is used for PET imaging of animal models of disease. It has been absolutely crucial for advancing knowledge of the underlying neurochemistry of developmental neuropsychiatric disorders and circuits underlying individual differences in emotional behavior. A gift of $300,000 to the Brain Imaging Laboratory Endowment Fund would provide a naming opportunity for the MicroPET Laboratory. The Endowment will be used to upgrade the instrument and to support physics personnel who are essential to the maintenance of the lab operation.
