Lab Services – Biochemical Genetics Lab
The Biochemical Genetics Lab offers unique services, including:
- comprehensive quantitative organic acids analysis on urine;
- quantitative amino acid analysis of blood, urine, and other body fluids;
- biotinidase assay;
- screening for inborn errors of metabolism on urine;
- lysosomal enzymes, hexosaminidase A and B (Tay–Sachs), arylsulfatase A, B-galactosidase;
- phenylalanine and tyrosine;
- carnitine measurement; and
- urine–sugar chromatography.
