Regional Core Teams

The Regional Core Teams' main responsibility lies in directing the Community Resource Mapping effort for their region. The Core Team is made up of diverse stakeholders from each region and meets three to four times each year to ensure the goals of Community Resource Mapping are fulfilled. In addition to the numerous stake holders involved in the process, we are working closely with Wisconsin First Step and the Autism Society of Wisconsin to ensure that they catalog the new resources that are discovered. If you are aware of a new ASD/DD resource in Wisconsin, please fill out the New Resource Reporting Form and email it to Tim Markle.

The Wisconsin Division of Public Health has five public health regions. Each region has a Regional Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN). The Connections project has a liaison responsible for the Connections initiative at each Regional Center. In addition to leading the Community Resource Mapping effort, each liaison helps plan and host a primary care practice trianing and a community training during each year of the three year grant.
