Early ID Initiative
The purpose of the Early Identification Initiative is to support early identification of children with special health care needs in the Medical Home consistent with American Academy of Pediatrics policy statements regarding early screening, using validated screening tools (Ages and Stages Questionnaire and Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers); to promote newborn hearing screening follow up by providers; and to develop connections with your Regional CYSHCN Center, local Birth to 3 Program, and the Wisconsin Sound Beginnings Program.
