The mission of the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) is to support the full inclusion and self–determination of people with developmental disabilities and their families. The Center accomplishes this mission through its research and preservice training programs, clinical and intervention services, continuing education programs, and consultation and technical assistance and consultation services.

The Center for Excellence is designated by the Administration on Developmental Disabilities, and is one of a national network of University Centers for Excellence that is coordinated by the Association of University Centers on Disabilities.
