Spasticity and Movement Disorders Clinic

The Waisman Center Clinics provide comprehensive clinical care and support for children with disabilities and their families. The Waisman Center Spasticity and Movement Disorders Clinic is a partnership with UW Health and the American Family Children’s Hospital. An interdisciplinary team of professionals works together to address the needs of children and young adults with neurological disorders causing abnormalities of muscle tone.

Children and their families receive a comprehensive evaluation by the interdisciplinary staff from: nursing, neurosurgery, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and rehabilitation medicine.
