Parent/Family Support

The Southern Regional Center for CYSHCN understands the importance of support for parents and families of children and youth with special health care needs and offers the following services:

Parent Support Groups: Get connected with area parent support groups by giving us a call at 800/532-3321.

Parent to Parent: This program provides one-to-one connections for parents new to having a child with special needs or just wanting to connect with other parents.

Parent Liaisons: Learn about parent liasons (CPL's) in your county who are connected to the Regional CYSHCN centers through the Wisconsin Statewide Parent Educator Initiative (WSPEI).

Parent Training: Learn about a number of different opportunities for parent leadership and parent training experiences including PALs, Family Voices, Parents in Partnership (PIPs), and topical trainings.

Wisconsin FACETS: This statewide organization is a nonprofit group serving Wisconsin children and adults with disabilities, their families and those who support them.
