Feeding & Nutrition
Videos (Video #56-59)
56. Feeding Infants and Young Children
with Special Needs (1989)

Running Time: 26 minutes
Many problems can occur at birth or as an infant matures that
may prevent development of the sucking and swallowing movements
natural to most babies. Overcoming the feeding problems of these
infants and children is the topic of this videotape. Techniques
are demonstrated to help alleviate the problems and encourage
the development of more satisfying feeding patterns. A team of
professionals, including nurses, speech therapists, occupational
therapists, physical therapists, and nutritionists, was involved
in the development of this instructional video.
