The Hartley Lab is run through the University of Wisconsin-Madison at the Waisman Center. The principal investigator is Dr. Sigan Hartley, 100 Women Chair in Human Ecology, Associate Professor in Human Development and Family Studies and Waisman Center Investigator. Dr. Hartley and her students study the resources and processes that promote positive development and foster healthy family relationships across the life course. The Hartley Lab investigates these issues in diverse populations, with a particular focus on individuals with developmental disabilities, and explores many aspects of development and family systems such as aging, mental health, marital quality, and parent-child interactions.
