The Hearing Development Research Laboratory (HDRL), located at the Waisman Center of the University of Wisconsin, is a small group of faculty, staff and students that conducts research on the mechanisms and processes of human hearing. We currently focus our efforts in two areas, the development of auditory skills by children and the acoustical and psychological factors that govern the spatial aspects of hearing. We hope you will take the time to learn about our research by reading some of the brief project descriptions, publication abstracts, and posters shown below and to listen to some of the 3-D sound demonstrations or visit our personal homepages. If you want more information or reprints of articles, please send email to our Laboratory Manager, Chiron Stevens (stevens@waisman.wisc.edu)
