Outreach Activities

 

The Waisman Center shares its resources in many ways—through public lectures and seminars; through consultation to physicians, educators, and other professionals; through an internet web site and resource center specializing in topics related to developmental disabilities; and through articles in professional journals, books, and other publications.

 

Children's Theatre

Provides high quality, diverse, educational, and interactive live theatrical performances at a modest cost and in fully accessible settings.

 

PALS
PALs is an opportunity for parents of children with special needs birth through six years of age to grow as leaders.

 

Day with the Experts

The 7th Annual Autism: A Day with the Experts will be held January 9, 2011. Participants will learn about some of the latest advances in autism research, and will hear firsthand from a panel of experts-individual(s) diagnosed with ASD and their families. Download a flyer here.

 

Community Training

A searchable listing of community training events conducted or co-sponsored by the Waisman Center UCEDD. You can view trainings scheduled for the next 30 days, 3 months or 6 months. There are a variety of learning opportunities for professionals, service providers, consumers with disabilities, family members, and student trainees.
