Waisman Center researchers are dedicated to the advancement of knowledge about human development, developmental disabilities, and neurodegenerative diseases. Researchers and faculty from 27 University of Wisconsin-Madison affiliated departments work with the Waisman Center in this important endeavor.

Waisman Centers investigators are entitled to use the Center's Core Services on a priority basis and at reduced rates. Further, the Waisman Center offers a number of educational activities throughout the year, including the John D. Wiley Seminar Series.

To become a Waisman Center researcher, investigators must have at least one federally funded (NIH or NSF) project that is relevant to human development, developmental disabilities or neurodegenerative diseases as outlined in our mission statement.
