Richard Davidson's work featured in Time and National Geographic magazines Richard Davidson, a professor of psychiatry and psychology and the director of the Waisman Laboratory for Brain Imaging and Behavior, is featured in the January 17, 2005 issue of Time magazine in a special section on the science of happiness as well as in the March 2005 issue of National Geographic magazine. Davidson's work to uncover the neural correlates of positive emotion is described, including his studies with Buddhist monks and the role meditation may play in promoting well-being.
