Friends of the Waisman Center Annual
Reception
August 22, 2006
The Friends reception took place on Tuesday, August 15, 2006 beginning at 4:00
p.m. in the 8th floor Ziemann Suite. This event brings together members of the
Friends organization and faculty, staff, and students of the Waisman Center. The
program features an update by the center director, as well as the presentation
of student and staff awards and the announcement of two fellowships.

Board president Carmen Skilton (above) welcomed the crowd to the reception
and introduced center director Marsha Mailick Seltzer (right), who talked
about the Friends’ accomplishments and summarized recent developments at the
Waisman Center.
