Seth Pollak, PhD receives APA Distinguished Scientific Award

Seth Pollak

Waisman researcher Seth Pollak, PhD,  been selected as a recipient of the 2006 American Psychological Association (APA) Distinguished Scientific Award for Early Career Contribution to Psychology. As the history of this award indicates, it is an outstanding accolade for scientific achievement by a young psychologist.

An announcement of all APA award recipients will be printed in the March 2006 APA Monitor.  Pollak will receive the award at the APA Convention in New Orleans, August 10-13, 2006.

Pollak is an associate professor in the Departments of Psychology, Psychiatry, and Pediatrics. At the Waisman Center, he is faculty co-coordinator of the Research Participation Core and conducts his research in the Social and Affective Sciences Group.
