I don't like to think about it. In fact, more often than not I choose to use my trusty method of ignoring the subject altogether by sticking my fingers in my ears and breaking into an off-key rendition of "lalalalalalalalala!!!!!!!"

Regardless of my emphatic denial, the truth remains: my 9-year-old son with autism will grow up to be a man someday; a man with autism. And that scares the bejesus out of me. (read the rest of the article here).
