Assistant, Associate, or Professor
Department of Pediatrics and the Waisman Center
University of Wisconsin-Madison

The Department of Pediatrics and the Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are pleased to announce a recruitment initiative focused on neurodevelopmental genetics. There is a growing need at UW-Madison generally and, in particular, the Department of Pediatrics and the Waisman Center, for trained faculty investigating the cell and molecular biology of genetic neurodevelopmental diseases including fragile X syndrome, Rett syndrome, Down syndrome, autism, etc.

The identification and treatment of the phenotypic manifestations of these related disorders are at the core of the missions of the Department of Pediatrics and the Waisman Center. The basic science investigating the causes of these disorders will facilitate the development of new translational efforts to treat this challenging and growing population. Therefore, we are seeking to recruit a faculty member to join the Department of Pediatrics and the Waisman Center in a tenured-track or tenured position at the assistant, associate, or professor level.

We invite you to review the contents of this website to learn more about the details regarding the current recruitment effort. Thank you for your interest.
