Dr. Jeff GagneJeff Gagne, Ph.D.
Assistant Researcher

Jeff is an assistant researcher at WTP after completing postdoctoral training in the Psychology Department. His interests are in child development, behavioral genetics, temperament, psychopathology, and behavioral assessment. At UW-Madison, he has studied genetic and environmental influences on temperament in the GEO sample (3-36 month-old twins), multi-method behavioral assessment issues in the Wisconsin Study of Families and Work sample (non-twins at 4.5 years of age), and is currently analyzing longitudinal data from WTP. This project involves behavioral genetic and candidate gene analyses of toddler, first grade, and adolescent temperament and psychopathology data. In addition to his duties as a researcher, he is also a part-time lecturer in the Psychology Department. Jeff received his Ph.D. in developmental psychology in 2007, and his thesis was on the etiology of inhibitory control in early childhood.
