Skin Irritation from Tape / Latex-Free Bandaids
We have always had problems with Lindsey even with latex free bandaids so what I do is smear Milk of Magnesia (let it dry) where the ape will be and it provides a barrier for the bandaid to stick to without hurting their skin. We actually use this technique every day for Lindsey's cecostomy gauze and it works like a charm.

Used AFOs - Where to Donate
  1. We gave our first pair back to the orthotist who did missionary visits.  You may want to check with orthotists in your area for local suggestions.  Most recently, we gave old AFOs and RGOs to Crosslink International in Falls Church, VA (703) 534-5465 or www.crosslinkinternational.net.  I think they only accept children's sized equipment.
