Waisman BioLibrary: Down Syndrome Study

Be included! Families of children with Down syndrome are invited to participate in our new study about genetics and health. The Waisman BioLibrary is recruiting youth with Down syndrome ages 0 – 17 years. Families make a one-time visit to the Waisman Center at UW-Madison or a remote visit option is available. The visit lasts 2-3.5 hours during which caregivers complete questionnaires on their child’s abilities and behaviors. Children with Down syndrome provide a blood or saliva sample and may also have cognitive, memory, and learning tests. Families earn up to $150 for participation and round-trip mileage reimbursement for in-person testing.
