With every challenge comes new opportunities. In lieu of a spring benefit concert,we are celebrating you, our partners, and supporting the Waisman Center through an at-home benefit to expand teletraining services in the Waisman Center Clinics. COVID-19 has served as a catalyst in expanding the ways our clinicians connect and engage with our community. While we are not seeing patients in person, advances in technology have enabled us to keep our clinic operations going and will be a game-changer in the future.
We need your help. Through a generous challenge grant from the Irving & Dorothy Levy Family Foundation, we have the opportunity to match donations up to $25,000.Your charitable gift will support the ECHO project (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes). This new initiative uses video conferencing technology to provide education and case consultation on best practice clinical services, training, and resources for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as autism, and their families. ECHO will serve as a diagnostic and treatment training hub to share the Waisman Center’s expertise with clinicians throughout the state and beyond.
