Profile

Lisa McCarthy is an autism treatment services specialist. She provides one-on-one teaching for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) during supervised treatment sessions that include an individualized treatment plan focused on skills. McCarthy works with parents on child behavior, progress, and effective strategies, as well as to plan and provide learning opportunities in the early childhood setting. Before joining the Waisman Autism Treatment Programs, McCarthy worked as a direct service provider at a center-based autism treatment program. She has provided ABA therapy to children and young adults with ASD and facilitated individual and group learning opportunities during play, outdoor activities, art, music, movement and structured learning activities.
