Profile

Cassie Meffert is an advanced practice provider in the Department of Neurology with clinical interests including pediatric headache and migraine, post-concussive headache, tic disorders and syncope. Cassie’s goals for patient care center around improving their quality of life and limiting the effects that neurological disorders have on their daily lives. She regularly trains APP students and residents in pediatric neurology, and is the director of the Neurology APP Fellowship Program. Cassie is also with the Pediatric and Young Adult Headache Clinic as well as the General Pediatric Neurology Clinic at UW Health.

Research Statement

My research is currently focusing on the expansion of newer migraine medications to the pediatric population where there is a need for more tailored migraine treatment options.
