Molly Murphy, PhD, BCBA-D

Molly Murphy, PhD, BCBA-D, is a licensed behavior analyst and the Waisman Autism Treatment Programs lead supervisor and programs director. She is responsible for overseeing the development, coordination and provision of treatment services to individuals with ASD and their families at the Waisman Center. She has worked with families and children with autism and other developmental disabilities for more than 30 years and has extensive experience with treatment program development and training staff in a range of programs including Birth to Three, the Waisman Early Childhood Program, Waisman Center UCEDD and school consultations throughout the state. She has worked as a lead clinician providing early intensive behavioral intervention for autism in both home and clinic settings and is an Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) certified therapist.  ESDM is a naturalistic intervention for young children, ages 2-4, which integrates applied behavior analysis (ABA) with intervention during play and daily routines.

Murphy’s clinical interests include: parent coaching, naturalistic interventions, increasing the use of ABA in play and daily routines and translating research on evidence-based practice and program models for implementation in community-based programs.
