Molly Naef, DNP

Molly Naef is a mother of a child on the autism spectrum. Professionally she is a Registered Nurse and through her family’s autism journey completed a Doctorate in Nursing Practice.  Her DNP work focused on researching the causes of injury in children on the autism spectrum and what evidence-based interventions could reduce injury.  This led to the creation of a Clinical Practice Guideline on Home Safety with the help of the ECHO team.  This Guideline has since been adopted by UW Health.
