About this Training: The Wisconsin Juvenile Justice System supports youth transitioning to adulthood by offering access to services for academic success, housing, and employment, with a focus on developing permanent, supportive connections and healthy lifestyle behaviors. The Wisconsin Department of Children and Families aims to provide comprehensive, coordinated support for youth ages 12-21, though challenges exist in ensuring consistency across counties.
About The Series: Transition Talks Tuesdays is a collaborative effort to provide students, families, educators, and community members with important information they need to know before a student turns 18 years old. We will cover a number of major areas that need to be considered. This fall we are inviting in some partners you might not be aware of and asking them “how do you support adolescents moving into adulthood and their families?”
