About
Helen Long, PhD, CCC-SLP (she/her) is an incoming Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University, starting in Fall 2024. Her research aims to advance the early prediction of communication and speech impairments in children with cerebral palsy, with the long-term goal to better facilitate targeted early intervention services for speech and AAC. This work is clinically informed by her experiences as a speech-language pathologist (SLP).
Helen is a co-founding collaborator of CSDisseminate, an early career group of scientists and clinicians dedicated to promoting the advancement of open access practices within the CSD community.
