About

Jessie Greenlee is an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at Lafayette College in Easton, PA.

She earned a BA in psychology from Kenyon College (2009) and an MS (2016) and PhD (2019) in Developmental Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She was a T32-funded postdoctoral research fellow in the Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2019-2021), and a visiting assistant professor at Kenyon College (2021-2022).

In 2022 Dr. Greenlee joined the faculty in the Psychology Department at Lafayette College where she is the principal investigator of Neurodiversity Lab.

Research in the Neurodiversity Lab aims to understand factors associated with the socioemotional well-being of neurodiverse children and youth and their families. We use multiple methods to explore how and why some neurodiverse individuals do well (build resilience) while others are at increased risk for mental health challenges. Current research topics include using electrodermal activity as a biomarker for child dysregulation, parenting experiences in the context of autism, and risk and resilience factors in neurodivergent college students.

She am originally from Nashville, TN but has moved all over the South and Midwest since college. She has two dogs – Lela and Lucy – who run her house. She loves to kayak, read, and travel with her partner.
