The Communications team oversees a wide range of media relations, multimedia, outreach, and development activities for the Waisman Center. We offer assistance to Waisman Center faculty and staff with media relations, writing and editing, graphic design, content management web maintenance, marketing, and special events planning. Working with multiple partners across not only the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, but also other universities, agencies, and community partners, we are able advance the important work done at the Waisman Center.
We also serve as liaisons to the Friends of the Waisman Center. Founded in 1975, the Friends of the Waisman Center, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which provides support for numerous Waisman Center activities, including the John D. Wiley Seminar Series, Children’s Theatre, and more. For more information about membership to the Friends, contact Teresa Palumbo.
