Our work focuses on neuromodulation, a technique that can assess and alter nerve activity through targeted delivery of stimuli to specific areas of the brain or nervous system. This presentation will provide an overview of our ongoing studies, emphasizing how these techniques can enhance motor function and quality of life in children with CP. We will discuss the lab’s current research initiatives, including an innovative study that uses remote technology to deliver and monitor neuromodulation therapies directly in patients’ homes. Additionally, future directions in our research will be explored, with a focus on how these developments may reshape pediatric care for children with CP. This talk is designed to be accessible to families, clinicians, and anyone interested in the future of CP treatment and research. |
