About the Speaker: Dr. Lizabeth Finestack is an associate professor in the department of speech-language-hearing sciences at the University Of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Her research focuses on identifying effective and efficient language interventions for children with significant language impairments, including children with primary language impairment, fragile X syndrome, Down syndrome, and autism spectrum disorder. She has built a research program focused on developing new child language intervention techniques, better understanding the language profiles of children and adolescents with differing neurodevelopmental disorders, and measuring intervention outcomes of individuals with different language and cognitive profiles.
