About the Display: Using Photovoice as a method for our research study, we explored the daily occupations of 18 adults with Intellectual and developmental disabilities in Wisconsin during the COVID-19 pandemic. People with intellectual and developmental disabilities already experience
disparities in access and participation; safety precautions throughout the pandemic further
limited their ability to access and participate in meaningful occupations. These photos and
narratives have a depth and complexity that necessitated dissemination beyond the typical
research manuscript. From that need, this book was born.
