Research Statement
Johnson is a clinical neuropsychologist with research interests in brain function in Alzheimers Disease and related disorders. Current projects focus on A) the neurobiological and psychological processes that affect memory; B) early detection of Alzheimers Disease with multi-modal imaging including amyloid imaging; C) machine learning based multi-modal imaging markers of AD; D) enriching clinical trials and improving trial design with multi-kernel machine learning to speed the discovery of effective treatments for AD.
Professor in the Dept of Medicine, Section of Geriatrics and Gerontology and affiliated with the following departments and centers on campus at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
