Linda Kautza Procci
Linda Kautza Procci grew up in Johnson Creek, WI. Linda is an alumna of the UW School of Nursing (BS’72, MS’74) and earned a PhD in special education from the University of Southern California (86). Linda led the School of Nursing’s capital campaign for Signe Skott Cooper Hall. Linda serves on the Board of Visitors for the School of Nursing and the Nurses Alumni Association board. In 2021, Linda was awarded the UW Nursing Distinguished Achievement Award. She has also served on the Wisconsin Foundation & Alumni Association Board and the UW Business School Board of Visitors. Linda has 39 years of progressive leadership and management experience in complex, academic, tertiary, and integrated healthcare organizations. She retired in 2013 after 17 years as vice president of service line operations at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Prior to that position, she served as vice president and chief operating officer at Good Samaritan Hospital LA, director of training in nursing at the University Affiliated Program at Children’s Hospital of LA, and a clinical nurse specialist at LA County/ University of Southern California Medical Center. In Los Angeles, Linda served as chair and on the boards of the Los Angeles (SABAN) Free Clinic and WISE & Healthy Aging. Linda was also active with the Cancer Support Community and the UW LA Alumni Chapter boards. In returning to Madison 2024, Linda is active with the University League and is president of her homeowners association. Linda’s late husband, Warren Procci, MD, was a UW Medical School graduate (’72).
