Judith B. Ward

Judith B. Ward, emerita executive associate director of the Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is currently a senior consultant with AGB Search, a national executive search firm serving higher education. Prior to joining the Waisman Center in 1994, Judith served the University of Wisconsin System as associate vice president for State Government Relations and acting vice president for University Relations. From 1974-84, she was employed by the Wisconsin Legislative Fiscal Bureau. An alumna of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BS in history and education, Judith later received an MA in political science from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. During her long residence in Madison, Judith was an active university and community volunteer. She was the honorary chair of the Waisman Center’s 40th Anniversary celebration and helped establish the Grandparents’ Network at the Waisman Center. Judith serves on the National Guardian Life Insurance Company Board of Directors in Madison and on non-profit boards in Washington, D.C. Judith and her husband David have two sons and six grandchildren.
