Jon Miller named interim associate dean of Letters & Science

Dean Gary Sandefur has announced that Jon Miller, professor of communicative disorders and director of the Waisman Center’s Language Analysis Laboratory, has been named interim associate dean for research policy and outreach in the College of Letters and Science. He began the position Nov. 1.Miller is responsible for oversight of college research policy, for the college’s campus-wide human subject protocol activities, for university-industry relations, and for credit outreach programs and outreach related to college research grants.
Miller received a bachelor of arts degree in speech-language pathology from San Diego State College in 1964, a master’s degree from the University of Redlands in speech pathology-education in 1966 and a Ph.D. from UW-Madison in speech-language pathology in 1969.
