Elizabeth Edwards, wife of Democratic vice-presidential candidate John Edwards, visited the center on Monday, September 13. Her visit focused on the Waisman Center’s “translational research,” including the Stem Cell Research Program, the Waisman Clinical Biomanufacturing Facility, and the Keck Lab for Brain Imaging and Behavior. During her two hours here, she toured these areas and then met with a small group for an informal discussion.
