How does childhood environment shape the human brain? Can caregiver abuse and neglect – as well as nurturing – promote behaviors and reaction patterns that last a lifetime?

Waisman Center researcher, Seth Pollak, PhD, shares answers to these questions and more during “Office Hours”, a weekly half-hour talk show produced at the University of Wisconsin and hosted on the Big Ten Network.

Pollak directs the Child Emotion Laboratory located at the Waisman Center. In addition, he is the Faculty Co-Director for the Waisman Center Research Participation Core and a Distinguished Professor of Psychology and of Psychiatry and Pediatrics.
