Autism Speaks grant awarded to Marsha Seltzer

Waisman Center Director Marsha Mailick Seltzer, PhD, Vaughan Bascom and Elizabeth M. Boggs Professor, received one of 47 grants awarded by Autism Speaks—the nation’s largest autism science and advocacy organization dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism. Mailick Seltzer, an autism expert at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, received a full three-year grant to improve the understanding of the quality of life and outcomes for individuals with ASD by tracking and characterizing different cohorts of adults who had previously been diagnosed during adolescence.
