Graduate student receives teaching award

Brooke Sasia, who is a graduate student in Waisman investigator James Li’s lab, recently received the Early Excellence in Teaching Award. The award recognizes TAs across campus who are essential to UW–Madison’s educational mission. “I value integrating research and clinical practice to make learning engaging for students,” Sasia says. “I believe that evidence-based practices combined with kindness and authenticity are critical components of effective teaching.” Congratulations!
