Child Brain Imaging Development Study (Alexander)

Pediatric Brain Imaging Development Study

The Quantitative Brain Imaging Technology Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin – Madison is recruiting infants and young children between 1 and 24 months of age for a research study aimed to develop new brain imaging methods to assess brain development.

Participation in this study may consist of either one or two visits to the Waisman Center. One visit will obtain pictures of your child’s brain with the MRI scanner. You and your child may also be asked to participate in a second visit to assess your child’s developing skills. You will be paid $50 at the end of the imaging session and $25 at end of the developmental assessment.

This study has received UW-Health Sciences IRB approval and is part of the research program of the Waisman Center under the direction of Andrew Alexander, PhD. If you would like additional information about this study, please contact Dr. Alexander’s lab at relaxmri@bi.wisc.edu or call 608-516-4558.

Please share this invitation with your neighbors, friends, and family.

Thank you for considering this new research opportunity!
