Support the WECP Scholarship Endowment Fund
The Waisman Early Childhood Program (WECP) provides inclusive education to children of all abilities. One-third of the enrollment is reserved for children with special needs, such as autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome.
In an effort to raise one million dollars to support the WECP Scholarship Fund, the Waisman Center has launched a multi-year fundraising campaign. All gifts will be invested in an endowment fund that will generate an estimated $45,000 per year as a stable source of support for future generations of children.
Low income families often face barriers in their efforts to access high quality early childhood education and care for their young children. To help remove a portion of the financial barrier, our scholarship fund enables families in need to access the WECP’s enriching and vibrant program.
Our current fund is dwindling, while the need for financial assistance continues to increase. By investing in this campaign to build our endowment, you will provide stable, integral support not only for tuition assistance, but also to help families with out-of-pocket costs associated with services provided by the WECP’s licensed speech-language and occupational therapists. Both types of funding are based on financial need.
Join us as we work to ensure that more children have a chance to learn and grow in our unique nationally and city accredited program. Your generosity makes a difference!
